Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully before signing the enrolment form.

Fees

Fees are paid termly in advance and are due in on or before the first day of term.

In the event of fees being outstanding without prior communication, The Weald School of Dance reserves the right to charge a late payment fee.

There are three terms in a year and each term is made up of eleven or twelve weeks.

Half a terms notice is due if a student wishes to stop coming to a class. Failure to give half terms notice will result in being charged half a term fees.

Fees will be reviewed annually.

The Weald School of Dance reserves the right to charge a retainer fee if a student temporarily wishes to not attend class.

Timetable

We make every effort to keep timetable changes to a minimum. However, due to the students progress it may occasionally be necessary to alter class times/days.

Cancelled classes

In the rare event of a class having to be cancelled the lesson will be rearranged. No refunds will be given if a student cannot attend the rearranged class.

Uniform

All our students are required to wear the correct uniform and have their hair done appropriately.

Risk of injury

Any dance class carries a risk of injury due to the physical nature of the class. Safe teaching and dance practice will ensure this risk is kept to a minimum.

All teachers will hold an up-to-date Emergency First Aid certificate.

In the event of an injury, first aid will be given and the parents/carers informed.

All teachers will hold an up-to-date DBS certificate.
