The Weald School of Dance takes data protection very seriously and will adhere to all regulations.
Data held securely by The Weald School of Dance may include the following:
- Full name of child attending the school
- Their current address
- Child’s date of birth
- Names of parents
- Email address
- Phone numbers
- Previous exam results
- Information regarding any health issues/allergies.
- Candidate PIN number for exams
- Copies of invoices sent and receipts of payments.
All information held will be accurate, relevant, and not kept for longer than necessary.
You can ask for your data to be amended or deleted at any time.
We will never share your data with a third party without your permission and will only use the data held to contact you regarding your or your child’s dance training.
Once permission has been obtained, the only organisations that we may share your data with are the Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (in order to enter students for exams) and Kent County Council (in order for the students to participate in the show).
The only person who has access to data is the principal of the school, Kiki Bradstock.
Data is held on a secure password protected system.
