Modern dance is an exciting and ever-changing dance style. It is freer than ballet, based on natural movement and incorporates a range of different styles. These include musical theatre, contemporary, street, lyrical and commercial.
The Weald School of Dance follows the internationally recognised syllabus of the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) and all students are offered the chance to take exams and perform in our whole school show.
